Our Family History group

We aim to help members to either start researching their family history and/or build on their existing trees. Absolute beginners and those with some experience are both very welcome at any time.

Members are encouraged to share in solving others' brick walls and celebrating their stories. We like to understand the lives of ancestors by exploring their contexts too. We try to include speakers and visits too, along with other relevant activities. Please also visit Family History 1 for an alternative class.

So if you are interested in joining this or any Leek U3A Family History group, please contact Carole by phone or email.

COMPUTER SKILLS

You need to have basic computer/internet skills - just emailing & basic internet searching. We'll show you how use and improve your IT skills.
