The aim of the Group is to learn conversational Spanish and to develop confidence in using it. You need to have a basic understanding of the language to join this group.

Videos and audio tapes are used occasionally to help with pronunciation.

Members find that regular contact with the language reinforces their knowledge.

Several members have families living in Spain and Spanish property, the aim is to "get by" with expression, vocabulary and correct grammar. It is a group that enjoys a good laugh with some serious comment added and is run by the members, rather than one person, thus coming up with new ideas.
