Our very friendly group plays the ancient Chinese game of Mah Jong, and has lots of fun. New members are always very welcome.

The game is for 4 players and is played with a set of 150 tiles roughly the size of dominoes. Players play for themselves, not with partners as in Bridge. The idea is to have lots of fun and some gentle mental exercise in a friendly, sociable environment.

New members are provided with a printed set of rules and a diagram of the tiles. Instruction is given on how to get started and practice games are played. There's always someone to show you how to play.
