Come along and learn to read a few notes on the musical stave:

I am only working with the treble clef. Please come along without your instrument to start with for the first session. We will begin with pulse and rhythm.  There will be practical activity and I.T. back-up. We will make time for coffee and a chat with each other.

As the lessons progress, we will soon move to finding notes on our treble clef instruments, i.e. guitar, banjo, ukulele, recorder and small keyboard. (You will need to know the names of the strings on your stringed instrument before finding notes!)

As we progress, we will be playing very simple melodies together, keeping time and practising for very short periods at home.  It will be great fun. Come and along and give it a go.
