Petanque is a form of boules where the aim is to toss or roll balls as close as possible to a jack.

It is extremely simple, just like horseshoes.

The game is played by two teams on a gravel or hard sand surface.

All equipment is provided. No special clothing or footwear is required, just what is comfortable for an hour or two's gentle exercise.
